By order of AIS company, the enterprise «Avto-Holding» will begin production of a wide range of special equipment based on FAW truck chassis. The list of manufactured vehicles will include:
• flatbed platforms (with tarpaulin or open),
• vans for various purposes — from general cargo to insulated ones equipped with refrigeration units, as well as models for bread transportation,
• dump truck installations,
• tanks for transporting food liquids,
• tankers intended for petroleum products,
• mobile workshops for emergency services,
• municipal vehicles and garbage trucks,
• tow trucks and other similar equipment.
The main buyers of such products will be agricultural enterprises, processors, housing and communal services, companies engaged in logistics and distribution, as well as organizations in the road construction and mining industries.
The cost of FAW chassis is usually 1.5–2 times lower than that of European, Korean or Japanese competitors, while they are characterized by comparable reliability and fuel efficiency. The production of FAW trucks involves components and parts from such well-known brands as Cummins, Bosch, Wabco, Sachs, ZF, Fast, Eisenmann, TRW, Tenneco and others. In addition, long-term partnership with global automakers — Volkswagen Group, Mazda Motor Corporation, Toyota Motor Corporation — has allowed the company to accumulate significant experience in the development and production of vehicles.
Thanks to the new production program, in 2020 it is planned to at least double the volume of manufactured products, significantly expand the staff and increase contributions to the state and local budgets. The launch and phased expansion of production capacities will continue throughout 2020.
Sales and service maintenance of special and re-equipped FAW vehicles will be carried out through the trade and service network of the AIS Group of Companies.
The products manufactured by the «Avto-Holding» plant have certificates confirming compliance with current Ukrainian legislation, and the quality control system meets the requirements of the ISO 9001:2009 standard. The enterprise is capable of producing up to 4000 vehicles annually.
