The FAW X40 became the second model (after the FAW B30) of the brand built on the manufacturer's new platform. The car combines strong technical performance for its segment and a democratic price. The exterior of the FAW X40 looks modern: proportions are balanced, body lines are expressive. The image is complemented by a hexagonal radiator grille with chrome inserts, combined with LED headlights, as well as 17-inch alloy wheels.

Thanks to a durable body, a set of active and passive safety systems, a reliable engine with a start-stop function, and a 6-speed manual gearbox, the FAW X40 noticeably outperforms competitors in terms of safety and driving comfort.

At the front, an independent suspension with McPherson struts is installed, at the rear — a torsion beam with a semi-independent design. This provides good stability, smooth ride, and confident handling. The car is also equipped with disc brakes on all wheels and electric power steering.

Under the hood is a naturally aspirated petrol engine with a volume of 1.6 liters, producing 109 hp at 5500 rpm. Peak torque is 155 Nm at 3600 rpm.

The model will be supplied to the Ukrainian market in the Comfort version, which includes: ABS+EBD, two front airbags, daytime running lights, central locking, immobilizer, air conditioning, onboard computer, power windows, steering wheel with audio control buttons, parking sensors with rear view camera, rain sensor, tire pressure monitoring, heated mirrors and windshield, multimedia with 8-inch screen, roof rails, and more.
