The Volkswagen Virtus GTS, built on the MQB-A0 modular platform, shares its main components and units with the sixth-generation European Polo hatchback. The sporty version of the sedan is equipped with a 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 150 hp and 250 Nm of torque. The engine works in conjunction with a sole six-speed automatic transmission.

Compared to the standard Virtus sedan, its GTS variant differs with modified bumpers, a radiator grille with a honeycomb pattern, and LED headlights with red elements.

Inside, there is a fully digital instrument cluster with red backlighting, seats with enhanced lateral support upholstered in fabric and leather, a steering wheel with a flattened lower section, and pedals with aluminum overlays.
