FAW B30 is the first car developed on a new platform, based on the modular PQ32 platform of the German concern Volkswagen. Serial production of the model began in 2016.
FAW B30 has an attractive and modern appearance and can easily compete with cars from leading global manufacturers. The car is absolutely unique and does not resemble any other model even in small details. The front part of the sedan has a predatory look thanks to a massive chrome hexagonal radiator grille with the FAW logo on it. The stylish bumper shape and daytime running lights add solidity. The interior design is made in accordance with modern requirements: high-quality fabric upholstery with eco-leather elements.
FAW B30 is a combination of ergonomics, practicality, and affordable price. It can be a profitable purchase for both family and business.
FAW B30 has a spacious interior thanks to its dimensions (4625 mm in length, 1790 mm in width, and 1500 mm in height) and a wheelbase of 2630 mm, as well as a large trunk volume of 480 liters. The new model is equipped with a 1.6-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine CA4GB16 of its own design. However, it is worth noting the presence of family ties with Volkswagen engines. The engine power is 109 hp at 5500 rpm, maximum torque is 155 Nm at 3600 rpm. In Ukraine, a version with a 6-speed Japanese automatic transmission AISIN will be offered. The fuel consumption declared by the factory in the combined cycle is 6.7 l/100 km.
FAW B30 has an independent suspension with McPherson struts at the front and a torsion beam at the rear with a semi-independent rear suspension. This additionally increases the stability of the car and allows for a smooth ride and stable handling. Also, the car is equipped with disc brakes on all four wheels, electric power steering, and has a low weight: the curb weight of the B30 varies between 1230-1270 kg.
FAW B30, which will be presented in Ukraine, have a whole set of safety systems: ABS, EBD, TCS, ESP, as well as 2 airbags for the driver and front passenger, central locking, and an immobilizer. In addition, FAW B30 has a body with increased rigidity thanks to the reinforced 3H construction. Eagle-eye LED headlights illuminate the road with more intense light.
