Green Card is an insurance policy for traveling abroad in your own car. Simply put, it is international motor third-party liability insurance. If in Ukraine it is prohibited to drive without an MTPL policy, then a motorist will not be allowed abroad without a Green Card.
How much does a Green Card insurance policy cost in 2019?
On August 7, 2019, the amounts of insurance payments for the Green Card changed. The updated Green Card cost in 2019 (in hryvnias) is shown in the table below. This is reported by the MTIBU in the annex to the letter dated 02.08.2019.

Where should you not buy a Green Card?
Do not buy international car insurance from unverified companies, private individuals, or in spontaneous border conditions. The probability of getting a fake is maximum. In the first half of 2019, border guards detected 169 cases of fraud. Since the start of inspections by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine in February, 84 fake and 85 invalid Green Card policies have been recorded (as of July).
