The cars will serve people living in rural areas across Ukraine.
The supplier of the cars is the official PEUGEOT dealer AIS Avtocentr Dnipro. The conversion of the cars was carried out at the plant of PA "Avto-Holding", Kremenchuk. The customer was the Fund for Social Protection of Persons with Disabilities. The cost of the batch of cars as a result of the tender held in the Prozorro system is UAH 28,497,500.00.
The special car for transporting people with disabilities is designed to carry two people in wheelchairs and three accompanying persons (not counting the driver), and is equipped with a passenger lift mechanism DHOLLANDIA.

The car has such options as: electronic safety systems AFU, ABS, ESP, ASR, LAC, Hill Assist Start; central locking with immobilizer, power steering, electric front window lifts, air conditioning, rear-view mirrors with heating and electric adjustment. Also, the car is equipped with: additional lighting equipment, doors with a locking system, side door steps, numerous luggage shelves, horizontal handrails on both sides of the side wall of the cabin, and an audible warning when reversing.
The PEUGEOT Boxer is very convenient for loading thanks to: a low loading level (from 494 to 601 mm), rear doors opening 270°, sliding side doors, and a rectangular structure of the cargo compartment. The PEUGEOT Boxer is adapted to Ukrainian climatic conditions. The car's equipment includes a Webasto Thermo Top C engine preheater (5 kW) and an increased-capacity battery (110 Ah). High ground clearance and a reinforced rear suspension allow the car to be used on roads with various types of surfaces, including rural areas. The warranty on the car is two years without mileage limit.
The DHOLLANDIA lift mechanism for loading and unloading passengers has a lifting capacity of 350 kg. The size of the cargo platform is 1350 mm x 820 mm. The lift is made of perforated steel and has handrails. It is controlled by a 2-button remote control on a spiral cord. For convenience, the lift has a transition bridge built into the platform for moving a wheelchair at the level of the van floor. The lift has a set of fastening belts.
