PrivatBank reported that cardholders of this bank, who are currently the only users of Apple Pay in Ukraine, can receive a bonus at OKKO gas stations. To participate in the promotion, it is enough to pay contactlessly for at least 15 liters of fuel of any type.

"For almost two months now, Ukrainian iPhone owners with PrivatBank cards have been discovering new payment options via Apple Pay, and now this service has become available to customers of all banks in the country," said Oleksiy Shaban, Head of Retail Business at PrivatBank. "More and more partners, including the OKKO gas station network, are supporting the global trend of popularizing contactless payments and modern technologies."

Immediately after payment, a digital bonus barcode for a cup of coffee or tea will be sent to the customer's smartphone. To receive the drink, it is enough to show it at the checkout. The promotion from PrivatBank and OKKO will run until September 17. If a customer wants to use the bonus later, the barcode will be saved in the Privat24 app in the "Discounts" section.

"OKKO has long gone beyond just refueling with fuel. We offer a service that exceeds expectations, introduces innovations, follows current trends, and shapes them itself," comments Vasyl Dmytryv, Marketing Director of the OKKO network. "Our customers are modern people who value comfort and efficiency in everything. With such promotions, we support their aspirations."

Let us remind you that on May 17, 2018, PrivatBank cardholders were the first in Ukraine to start using Apple Pay — a convenient and secure payment method. The service is available on iPhone SE, iPhone 6, and newer models, as well as on Apple Watch.
