Like the passenger version of the model, the New Berlingo Van has made a real leap forward in terms of style and equipment. Reliable, hardy, durable, the van is fully in line with the Brand's signature style and offers new features designed to enhance its versatility, functionality, and comfort. Thus, the new model offers a wide choice of versions: medium-length body L1 or extended body L2, special versions "Worker" or "Driver" (differing in ground clearance, equipment level, and specific equipment). In addition, the vehicle offers various cabin configurations – Extenso® Cab (3-seat 1+2 layout) or Crew Cab (5-seat cabin) – and provides convenient access to the cargo area via rear barn doors and/or side sliding doors. Finally, we note that the third-generation Berlingo Van is built on a new platform that guarantees maximum efficiency, good cargo capabilities, excellent comfort, and safety. The new model offers 20 driver assistance systems and 4 connectivity technologies, as well as the latest engines (1.5L BlueHDi diesel and 1.2L PureTech petrol) and transmissions (EAT8 automatic). Sales of the New CITROËN Berlingo Van will start in Europe at the end of 2018.

Thanks to the new commercial CITROËN Berlingo Van, presented following the passenger version of the Berlingo model, the Brand continues its success story in the light commercial vehicle segment. Thus, in 2017, CITROËN held 9.7% of the European commercial van market. The Brand's strong position in the compact van segment is based on legendary and successful models such as the 2CV, C15, and the first and second-generation Berlingo. It was CITROËN commercial vehicles that were the first to introduce a number of key innovations in the compact commercial van segment: front-wheel drive, diesel engine, body design with integrated cargo area, and a three-seat cabin (1+2 front row).

Building on this legendary heritage, the New CITROËN Berlingo Van is poised to become a new bestseller. The vehicle is a key player in its segment: over the model's history, more than 1.5 million units have been produced, of which 1.3 million were sold in Europe. Moreover, the vehicle's popularity is "timeless": for example, in 2017, more than 27,000 units were sold in France, a 4% increase over 2016. Another example: in the first quarter of 2018, sales grew again, and the Berlingo model now accounts for about 40% of CITROËN's total commercial vehicle sales – it is the Brand's best-selling commercial vehicle!

The New third-generation CITROËN Berlingo Van is full of ambition and hope to continue the success story of its predecessors. Sales of the vehicle in Europe will start at the end of 2018.
