New functionality in OKKO Pay: now coffee and windshield washer fluid can be purchased without approaching the checkout

OKKO continues to expand the functionality of the OKKO Pay service – starting from May, network customers can buy not only fuel, but also coffee and washer fluid using their smartphone directly at the pump.

You will be able to pick up your purchase right in the sales area of the gas station, bypassing the checkout, and pay — including with bonuses. Android users already have access to the updated version of the service in the Fishka app, and for iOS it will become available from May 10.

"Ukrainians now value every minute, and we are used to implementing solutions that help save time," says Vasyl Dmytriv, marketing director of the OKKO gas station network. "The updated OKKO Pay is proof of that. To have a coffee or buy windshield washer fluid, the driver now needs only a few actions on their smartphone. Plus, for using such convenient IT solutions from OKKO, customers receive additional discounts as a pleasant bonus."

To use the new features, you need to take a few simple steps:

- Insert the nozzle into the car's fuel tank

- In the Fishka app, scan the QR code on the dispenser

- Select the desired fuel volume — after that, in the payment window, you will be able to pay partially or fully with points (minimum — 10 UAH)

- After starting refueling, the customer will be offered to buy coffee or windshield washer fluid

- The windshield washer fluid can be picked up in the sales area of the gas station or at a separate stand near the entrance

- Coffee can be prepared independently in the sales area of the gas station or ordered at the cafe.

In parallel with payment at the dispenser, another option is being introduced — paying for coffee via OKKO Pay in self-service zones in the sales area of the gas station. To do this, simply scan the QR code on the coffee machine. This is convenient for those who want to quickly buy a drink but do not plan to refuel right now.

If the customer has not used OKKO Pay before, they need to install and log into the Fishka app in advance. They also need to be registered in the Masterpass digital wallet — this is done directly in the app, by entering bank card details once. For already registered users, the system will recognize them automatically, and authorization will take less time. Payment security via Masterpass is ensured by Mastercard.

Let us remind you that OKKO Pay for paying for fuel at the dispenser from a smartphone started working in the summer of 2017 and is now available at all OKKO gas stations in Ukraine.
