The TCR modification is the road version of the racing Golf GTI that competes in the TCR International Series.
Under the hood of the front-wheel-drive Golf GTI TCR is a two-liter turbo engine producing 290 hp and 370 Nm. The engine is paired with a 7-speed DSG "robot" gearbox. In addition, the "hot hatch" is equipped with a front differential with locking.
More detailed information about the model will appear after the presentation at the annual GTI festival, which starts on May 9 on the shores of the Austrian lake Wörthersee.
