Videos about how a hapless father and his overly sensible "son" get into funny situations have gathered about a million views on Facebook.
During the campaign, users of the "OKKO" page left over 600 comments under the videos, offering their own options for how to behave in a car with a child. Interestingly, almost 95% of commenters gave correct answers, which indicates the audience's good awareness of this issue.
In three episodes of the video project, the father and son in a humorous manner touched upon such key aspects of child safety in a car as installing a child seat and the rules for transporting children under one year old. Among those who answered correctly, the company raffled off 75 certificates worth UAH 3,500, which could be spent on purchasing a child seat. A similar promotion was also held for OKKO employees.
As previously reported, these videos became the final initiative of OKKO for Ukrainian drivers this year as part of the campaign "Please, buckle up," aimed at improving road safety. In addition, from January to March, the promotion "Turn in the plug – choose life" was held, during which 1,400 liters of fuel were raffled off. Young parent drivers were given 20,000 car stickers "Baby on board." In November-December of last year, OKKO together with Traffic Challenge LLC organized 12 trainings in various regions of Ukraine dedicated to safe trips with children. Lectures and practical classes were attended by about 1,000 young parents – network customers, as well as teachers, law enforcement officers, and medical workers from Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Ivano-Frankivsk, Khmelnytskyi, and Kryvyi Rih.
