Skoda has announced the creation of a conceptual convertible based on the Karoq crossover.
Two dozen students from the vocational school owned by Skoda and located in Mlada Boleslav will work on creating the open-top modification of the Karoq. The finished concept car, named Karoq Cabriolet, will be presented to the public in June, and for now the company has limited itself to publishing a designer sketch.
Skoda emphasizes that the cabriolet will not go into production, and its main goal is to attract additional attention to the crossover, which is already in growing demand.
