AIS Autotrade was established on the basis of the AIS Group of Companies division – “AIS Market”, which handled trade-in transactions in the AIS dealer network.
The new company enters several segments of the automotive market at once and significantly expands its scope of activities.
1) AIS Autotrade will conduct operations in the domestic resale market across Ukraine:
- purchase and sale of used passenger and commercial vehicles of all brands in all cities where AIS is present, including trade-in of used for used;
- services will be available to both individuals and legal entities.
It should be noted that systematic trading operations with used commercial vehicles are currently not carried out by any car dealer. And the purchase and sale of passenger cars is mainly carried out by private entrepreneurs, often illegally. Also for the first time in Ukraine, AIS Autotrade offers wholesale buyout services for vehicle fleets from large companies. Another innovation of AIS Autotrade is trade-in operations of used for used (traditionally this service was previously offered only when purchasing new cars).
2) AIS Autotrade will conduct operations on the import of commercial vehicles from the European Union:
- buyers will have access to cargo-passenger and cargo vehicles from leading European manufacturers of various classes by load capacity and passenger capacity;
- legal entity buyers will be able to receive a VAT tax credit.
3) AIS Autotrade will continue to provide trade-in transactions when purchasing new cars in the national network of AIS Auto Centers across Ukraine:
- clients will be able to trade in their existing used passenger or commercial vehicle of any brand;
- under the trade-in program, you can purchase a new car choosing from 18 brands offered by AIS, including Opel, Renault, Citroen, Peugeot, SsangYong, Ravon, Geely, etc.
4) AIS Autotrade is one of the first companies in Ukraine to offer clients a whole set of additional services when buying a used car:
- Guarantee of legality, legal purity, confirmed mileage and technical condition of the car.
- Opportunity to test drive any car you like.
- Opportunity to purchase a car on credit or lease.
- Free for the Client Assistance service – technical and informational support on the road.
- Opportunity to purchase CASCO and OSAGO insurance policies.
- Purchase a car through trade-in with a benefit of up to 5%* of the cost of a new car.
As noted by the General Director of AIS Autotrade – Mr. Martin Emes: “Our company was the first in Ukraine to offer a European scheme for working with used cars, when an official automotive operator offers the client solutions for replacing vehicles and guarantees the client safety, comfort, reliability and high speed of the transaction.”
The Marketing Director of the AIS Group of Companies, Sergey Borovik, noted: “The used car market (passenger and commercial) in Ukraine exceeds 0.5 million units per year, and it is steadily growing. We see a clear vacuum in the availability of high-quality services for potential clients. We intend to take a 10% share in our target segments.”
The purchase of used cars is carried out in all 22 AIS Auto Centers across Ukraine. Diagnostics of the technical condition and assessment of the car are carried out free of charge.
The sale of used cars is currently carried out only in Kyiv at the AIS Auto Quarter on Baltiyskaya. The stock of offered cars is one of the largest in Ukraine and reaches 300 units, with more than 30 car brands represented. AIS Autotrade plans to open sales offices for the sale of used cars in all major cities of Ukraine.
