The car has three transmission operating modes controlled by a button from the cabin:
2H mode – engine torque is transmitted only to the rear wheels, allowing fuel savings when driving in normal conditions.
4H mode – rigidly engaged all-wheel drive perfectly handles driving in difficult road and weather conditions.
4L mode – engaging low range in the transfer case with a gear ratio of 2.542:1 is ideal for the toughest off-road conditions.
The car is available in several trim levels, the highest of which approaches renowned European brands in terms of equipment. UAZ Patriot now features: driver and passenger airbags, ISOFIX child seat anchoring system, an active safety package including ABS, EBD, ESP systems, as well as traction control system (TCS), cornering brake control (CBC), hydraulic brake assist (HBA), and hill start assist (HHC).
For safe parking, a rear-view camera and front and rear parking sensors are used.
