Samsung Galaxy S8 for a test drive of the new Hyundai Accent as part of the promotion "Driving Summer with the New Hyundai Accent"

From June 26 to July 31, 2017, Hyundai dealerships of Avtobeg company across Ukraine will join the promotion "Driving Summer with the New Hyundai Accent". As part of the event, everyone will be able to test drive the new generation Accent sedan. Those who register for a test drive are guaranteed a gift, and will also have a chance to compete for the main prize — a modern Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphone.

Sales of the new Hyundai Accent at Hyundai dealerships of Avtobeg LLC began in April 2017. To help Ukrainian drivers get to know the car better, the distributor company launched an all-Ukrainian promotion "Driving Summer with the New Hyundai Accent", which will last from June 26 to July 31.

After a test drive of the new Hyundai Accent, the participant will receive a guaranteed gift of their choice. The winner of the main prize — a Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphone — will be determined on August 3, 2017 among all registered participants.

The organizers have also prepared additional bonuses. If a participant takes a photo with the new Hyundai Accent and publishes it on their Facebook page with the hashtag #NewAccent, they will enter a separate contest where 10 picnic sets will be raffled off. These drawings will take place on July 13 and 27, 2017. It is important that the photo with the new Accent and the hashtag #NewAccent is visible to all users on the participant's Facebook page. The results will be published on the official website of Hyundai Motor Ukraine at hyundai.com.ua, on the Avtobeg company portal at autobereg.com.ua, and in the Facebook community Hyundai Avtobeg.

Recall that the new Accent received an updated design, changed dimensions, new engines and transmissions, as well as an expanded list of options compared to its predecessor. In Ukraine, the car is available in four trim levels: Active, Active+, Comfort, and Elegance.

Even the base version includes two airbags, air conditioning, Hill Assist Control, ESP, VSM, and other features.

For Ukraine, the new generation Accent is offered with two four-cylinder gasoline engines. The new engine from the Kappa family with a displacement of 1.4 liters produces 100 hp and a maximum torque of 132.4 N·m. The updated unit from the Gamma family with a displacement of 1.6 liters develops 123 hp and a torque of 150.7 N·m. Both engines are paired with modern 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions.

Thanks to the new powertrains and transmissions, the new Hyundai Accent has become more economical: in the combined cycle, the 1.4-liter engine consumes 5.7 l/100 km (6.4 l/100 km with automatic transmission), and the 1.6-liter engine — 6.0 l/100 km (6.7 l/100 km with automatic transmission).
