In July, the presentation of the new restaurant concept A la minute took place, which opened at a gas station near Uman on the Kyiv-Odesa highway. The culinary project was created in collaboration with the famous chef of meat restaurants "Gra z vognem" and "Khriak", Oleksandr Yakutov. The new A la minute is a combination of author's cuisine adapted for quick dish service, a conceptual interior, and gastronomic trends.

When developing the menu, three key market trends were taken into account: craft product, light smoking, and healthy food from local products. First of all, the new A la minute is a restaurant about meat and bread. Thanks to melting in the oven, the meat becomes very tender, juicy, and acquires light notes of smoking. Bread is also baked here themselves. Moreover, you can enjoy whole grain or onion bread "straight from the oven" not only in the restaurant, but also take it with you on the road.

Familiar dishes are offered here in a special author's presentation. For example, everyone is used to pork neck as shashlik in nature. But in the new A la minute, it will first be simmered and smoked all night in a special chamber, and served to the guest in mustard barbecue, with warm freshly baked pita and a salad of young cabbage and apples. Or, for example, another author's dish – chicken sausages with giblets, which are served here with apple-mustard sauce, and bulgur with feta cheese as a side dish.

Technological processes in the restaurant are built taking into account the needs of travelers – dishes are served quickly here, which saves guests' time. Visitors are greeted by a spacious hall with an open kitchen: you can look at the elements of atmospheric decor and watch the process of preparing dishes.

"OKKO has long been not perceived as a simple network of gas stations and is increasingly developing the restaurant side of its business. It was pleasant and interesting for me to work on creating the new A la minute concept. After all, the main difference between a restaurant at a gas station and a regular restaurant is the need for quick service of a ready dish. But for OKKO, the gastronomic component is also no less important," comments the ideologist and brand chef of the new A la minute, Oleksandr Yakutov. – By combining the experience of the OKKO team, modern technologies, and a new look at familiar cuisine, I hope we managed to create a kind of island of gastronomic pleasure on the Kyiv-Odesa highway."

You can verify this by visiting the restaurant at the OKKO gas station at the address: Furmanka village (Cherkasy region), Kyiv-Odesa highway, 226 km + 700 m. And on the way back, it is worth stopping at the opposite gas station and enjoying Italian cuisine dishes – a new Pasta Mia restaurant has opened here at the reconstructed gas station.
