The innovation will be especially useful for foreign companies engaged in freight road transportation in Ukraine. Some of them have already tried the option of paying for fuel non-cash in foreign currency using a personal online account.

“Four out of ten European international transport corridors pass through Ukraine. Every year, over 20 million tons of cargo are moved across the country in international road transport mode. Therefore, it is important for foreign transport companies that their drivers, when entering Ukraine, can easily refuel with quality fuel in any region, using a single card and without dealing with cash, whose turnover is always harder to track,” comments Iryna Kuchabska, who heads the corporate sales department of the OKKO filling station network. “The new service from OKKO not only provides this opportunity but also makes it extremely convenient for non-residents.”

OKKO fuel cards are a modern tool that allows corporate clients to control fuel expenses online. For example, in the personal account, the cardholder can set convenient fuel consumption limits, track all card transactions in real time, check the account balance, receive necessary reports, and instantly block the card if needed. These cards have a reliable degree of protection, and they can be used to pay not only for petroleum products but also for other goods or services at OKKO filling stations.

Previously, when paying with such cards, all amounts had to be converted into hryvnia, which slowed down the delivery of data to the client and significantly complicated vehicle owners' control over fuel costs. However, since May 2017, all these functions have become available for non-residents as well.
