The OKKO gas station network has become the first among major Ukrainian operators to equip its stations with everything needed for parents traveling with infants. To date, 31 changing tables have been installed at the company's filling stations. Active work on updating and installing new changing tables started in the first half of 2017, and the company plans to continue it in the future.
As part of this program, at six OKKO gas station complexes, old tables were replaced with more modern and comfortable models, and two new changing tables appeared in the villages of Chabany on the Kyiv-Odesa highway and Kalynivka on the Kyiv-Chop highway. Soon, it is planned to install two more tables at gas stations in the Zhytomyr region: in the village of Zarechany and on the territory of the Levkivskyi village council along the Kyiv-Chop route. Thus, most of the network's major roadside stations are now ready to welcome even the youngest travelers.
"Our customers are very different, and we try to take into account the needs of everyone, but there are guests who need special care — for example, parents with small children," comments Anna Tykhovska, sustainable development manager of the OKKO network. "They often have to change the baby's diapers, and doing this in the car interior is not always convenient. Moreover, it is useful for the child to stretch and play after a long time in the car seat. All this is possible at our gas stations. And when the child is comfortable, parents behind the wheel feel much calmer and more confident."
You can plan a trip taking into account stops at OKKO gas stations where there are changing tables using a special service on the official website.
