On April 7, the second international exhibition dedicated to electric transport, “Plug-in Ukraine-2017”, will start in Kyiv. Among the participants of the event is the official distributor of the Hyundai brand in Ukraine — the company “Hyundai Motor Ukraine”. At its booth, the company will present two innovative models — IONIQ Hybrid and IONIQ Electric. Guests will be able not only to learn all the details about these cars, but also to personally test the hybrid version of the IONIQ on the territory of the exhibition center “KyivExpoPlaza”.
The Hyundai IONIQ Hybrid model represents a new approach to hybrid technologies. This car combines high efficiency and dynamics, which was previously rare for such cars. The power plant includes a 1.6-liter gasoline engine (GDi Kappa series) operating on the Atkinson cycle, paired with an electric motor and a polymer-based lithium-ion battery. This scheme ensures stable road behavior and low fuel consumption. Gear shifting is handled by a 6-speed robotic gearbox with two clutches, which works quickly and accurately. Thanks to the use of high-strength steel and aluminum in the body and chassis, the car turned out to be light, reliable, and maneuverable.
Hyundai IONIQ Electric is the first fully electric production car in the history of the brand. Its lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 28 kWh allows driving more than 280 kilometers without recharging. The electric car's design also uses aluminum and high-strength steel, which ensures strength, safety, and efficient energy use. IONIQ Electric produces no harmful emissions, has good dynamics, and allows you to move freely every day.
