The second plant of the British sports car brand will be built on the territory of a former Royal Air Force base located in South Wales. The facility has already been handed over to Aston Martin, and infrastructure redevelopment will begin next week.
In addition to the company's first-ever crossover and the DB11 sports car, two new models of the Lagonda sub-brand, which will debut in 2020-21, will eventually roll off the plant's assembly line.
The new plant is planned to produce up to 7,000 cars per year.
