The anniversary vehicle was handed over to the customer at the ATLANT site, the largest Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicle dealership center in Ukraine.
The keys to the hundredth Mercedes-Benz Actros truck were symbolically presented to representatives of PJSC KPK RAPID — CEO Volodymyr Hrynenko and his first deputy Maria Mitchenko.
Currently, Mercedes-Benz vehicles make up the majority of the PJSC KPK RAPID fleet. As Volodymyr Hrynenko noted, after a period when the company used more affordable trucks of other brands, it was decided to return to cooperation with Mercedes-Benz. The reason was the full compliance of this equipment with strict operational and economic requirements for businesses in the field of international freight transportation.
The Mercedes-Benz Actros Euro-5 for PJSC KPK RAPID combine efficiency, reliability, and safety. Configurations were selected taking into account the customer's wishes. The vehicles received the largest MegaSpace cabs in the Actros line with air suspension — they are designed for long international routes. All options for comfortable driving and rest during long trips are also provided. The PowerShift 2 automatic transmission reduces the load on the driver, and the increased fuel supply in two tanks allows trips without refueling, including abroad. The Mercedes-Benz Actros Euro-5 powertrain is covered by a 3-year or 450,000 km warranty, and service intervals have been extended to 75,000 km.
ATLANT and PJSC KPK RAPID have a long history of cooperation. The first contract was signed in 1991, when the enterprise (then ATP 13064) was one of the first in Ukraine to purchase a Mercedes-Benz Actros 1735. Today, the management of PJSC KPK RAPID considers direct financing from the German concern Daimler AG, recently announced by the Mercedes-Benz distributor in Ukraine, as an additional advantage when ordering the next vehicles.
