The name for Hennessey's new creation was not chosen by chance, as the main competitor of the "Exorcist" will be the "supercharged" Dodge Challenger Demon, which will debut next week in New York.

The tuners managed to raise the power of the 650-horsepower ZL1 to a mind-boggling 1014 hp, while torque increased from 868 to 1310 Nm. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes only 3 seconds, instead of 3.5 seconds for the standard version.

The exterior and chassis remained almost unchanged. The Hennessey Exorcist can be identified only by the stickers on the sides of the body.

The engine upgrade package is priced at 55 thousand dollars and is almost equal to the cost of the "base" Camaro ZL1 (from 61,140 dollars). Additional adaptation of the 10-speed automatic transmission for increased power will cost another 9,950 dollars.
