Tuscan dishes are simple to prepare, but very demanding in terms of ingredient selection. All components must be of the utmost freshness, top quality, and ideally, gathered from the surrounding fertile fields and gardens. Guests of the tasty filling stations network “OKKO” can now appreciate and get acquainted with the gastronomic features of this legendary Italian region by visiting the “Tastes of Tuscany” festival, which has started at Pasta Mia restaurants.

The first surprise of the festival menu is a salad with feta cheese and oranges, which are organically combined with green beans and red beans with the addition of sweet onions. This rich mix is dressed with honey, balsamic vinegar, and oil, resulting in a unique flavor palette.

No less strong gastronomic emotions can be evoked by the other festival dishes. The familiar creamy mushroom soup will be revealed in a new way. Light and at the same time hearty, combined with Tuscan herbs, this creamy soup will acquire a truly special taste, and a breadstick will add a distinct crispy accent.

Even pasta and pizza, characteristic of all Italy, have their own features in Tuscany. Local residents here prefer large pasta shapes, such as pappardelle or gran di pasta. The latter, in fact, can now be tried at Pasta Mia in combination with chicken and broccoli. Simple at first glance, but incredibly tasty, this pasta under a fragrant creamy sauce will not leave even the most demanding gourmets indifferent. The new festival pizza is special because it does not contain meat components, but is filled with the pronounced taste and aroma of forest mushrooms. Here they are harmoniously complemented by three types of cheese, piquant capers, green peas, and spicy arugula.

“It is pleasant that festivals of regional Italian cuisine have already become a real highlight of Pasta Mia restaurants, and many of our regular customers look forward to the next gastronomic discoveries,” comments Andriy Yanchuk, director of the restaurant direction of the “OKKO” filling station network. “Fortunately, Italy has so many different regions that are famous for their original cuisine that we will always have inspiration to create new interesting dishes and treat guests of tasty filling stations to them.”
