The South Korean premiere of the new model is scheduled for September 7, and the global debut will take place in October at the Paris Motor Show. The Hyundai i30 will get a different trapezoidal radiator grille, as well as elongated headlights with modified sections of LED daytime running lights.
The rear of the body will be styled in the manner of the new-generation Tucson crossover.

The next Hyundai i30 will have a "hot" modification that will become the first representative of the N sub-brand. According to unofficial data, the front-wheel-drive hot hatch will be equipped with a two-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing about 260 horsepower and 310 Nm of torque.

The most powerful version of the model will appear in 2017 and will be offered with a six-speed manual transmission. A version with an automatic transmission will become available from 2018. It is possible that later the hot hatch will be offered with an all-wheel-drive option.
