Restaurants of the OKKO chain are taking part in this initiative for the second year in a row. Every guest of the filling station who buys a charity lemonade on this day will become part of the big Superpills team and can be sure: part of the proceeds from the drink will be transferred to purchase quality medications for children with cancer.
According to statistics, every year in Ukraine more than 1000 children from birth to 18 years old hear the terrible diagnosis of cancer. During treatment, about half of them become wards of the Tabletochki Foundation and receive help from caring Ukrainians. One day of treatment for one child costs about 5000 hryvnias.
Last year, thanks to the Lemonade Day campaign, the Tabletochki Foundation collected more than 400,000 hryvnias. Now the initiators hope that both food establishments and their visitors will show even more activity and compassion. After all, drinking a refreshing lemonade on August 4 will be doubly pleasant – the tasty drink will not only save you from the heat, but also provide quality treatment and care for hundreds of little Ukrainians diagnosed with cancer.
This summer, 41 restaurants of the OKKO tasty filling station chain offer their visitors 6 varieties of lemonades. In addition to the classic or orange ones, at A la minute and Pasta Mia establishments you can order sea buckthorn and basil, and at the Meiwei restaurant – ginger, basil, or grapefruit with lemongrass. You can enjoy them either in the restaurant at the filling station or take them on the road in a convenient 0.5-liter bottle. In turn, the OKKO chain guarantees: 25% of the proceeds from the sale of all the listed lemonades on August 4 will be transferred to the Tabletochki charity foundation.
Helping is together!
