On the runway of the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, an electric car based on the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 showed a speed of 205.6 miles per hour, which corresponds to 330.8 kilometers per hour.
The company's engineers removed the car's seven-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine, which developed 505 horsepower, and installed in its place a power plant consisting of a pair of electric motors that receive energy from a battery pack with a capacity of 44 kilowatt-hours. The total output of such a system reaches 600 horsepower and 637 Nm of torque.
The range of the electric Corvette without recharging is about 210 kilometers.

In March, this same car had already accelerated to 300.6 kilometers per hour, thereby exceeding the result of the Finnish electric prototype by 15 kilometers per hour. In the future, the electric coupe Rimac Concept_One with a power of 1088 horsepower will be able to surpass the achievement of Genovation Cars — its maximum speed, according to the manufacturer, will reach 354 kilometers per hour. However, the production version of this model has not yet been presented to the public.
