The new program has been decided to be called The Grand Tour, abbreviated as GT. "This is in a way a 'grand tour', if you will. That's why we settled on the name The Grand Tour," Jeremy Clarkson shared with journalists. Later, he duplicated the name in his microblog.

Richard Hammond also mentioned the name of the show. "The most wonderful thing is our huge tent in the studio. The same tent, but each time a new lineup and different guests in our Grand Tour," the host wrote on social media.

Jeremy Clarkson added that each episode of The Grand Tour will be filmed in different locations, as was practiced with Top Gear specials. The program will air weekly on the streaming service Amazon Prime, starting this fall.

As for Top Gear, it will be shown in an updated form at the end of next month. The show will be hosted by entertainer Chris Evans, actor Matt LeBlanc, and several other presenters.
