Starting from the first of July, the state will begin compensating private individuals who purchase electric vehicles with five thousand euros. For companies and organizations, the amount of the subsidy will be limited to three thousand euros.
In addition, the government intends to increase the share of electric transport in the fleet of state structures. It is planned that every fifth car purchased with budget funds will run on electricity.
The ministries of economy, transport, and environmental protection are confident that the spread of environmentally friendly cars will contribute to a noticeable improvement in the state of the environment. Furthermore, officials believe that subsidies for the purchase of such cars, as well as the resulting growth in consumer interest, will spur the development of the necessary infrastructure for them.
