This ZIL-4112R car was made in 2012, when the President of the Russian Federation ordered the development of domestic cars for the government. But the sample did not appeal to Putin and those responsible for the "Cortege" project.

Until recently, the car was stored in the factory's warehouses. Now it has been put up for sale.
The car is being sold on the Hemmings website, which mainly features rare and vintage cars. The 4112R is powered by a 7.7-liter V8 engine producing 400 hp. The interior is a realm of leather and wood.

In addition to limousines for the heads of state, the "Cortege" project will offer a smaller executive sedan, as well as an SUV and a minivan, which can be used as escort vehicles. The current status is not exactly known. But the first batch of cars is supposedly to be presented next year.
