This decision was made due to endless complaints from Kensington and Chelsea residents: they blame mostly wealthy Arabs for the noise, whose cars spread sound throughout the area.
According to the new rules, drivers are prohibited from revving the engine in place, sharply accelerating, engaging in street racing, sounding horns unnecessarily, and keeping the engine running while parked.
A noisy ride will cost a fine of one thousand pounds sterling. The cheapest option is 100 pounds for "honking."
