It is known that the unusual new product will debut in France in spring 2016. However, the prospects for the model's entry into other markets are still in question.
The design of the off-road convertible is made in the style of the C4 Cactus. True, the Mehari does not have the Airbump protective panels that are signature for the Cactus, and at the front there are not a bench seat but two separate seats.

The power unit is an electric motor with 50 kilowatts (68 horsepower), which is powered by a lithium-polymer battery. The declared range is 200 kilometers. The maximum speed is modest - only 110 kilometers per hour. On the other hand, why rush in such a car?

There is no information about the price yet, but it is likely that the model will cost at least 30 (or even 40 or 50!) thousand euros.
