An Australian resident, Artem Kozmin, who comes from a family of Transbaikal Cossacks, decided to get a personalized license plate for his car with the inscription "Putin". After paying the required fee, the Russian-born man began to wait for the coveted license plate. But in response, the authorities sent a refusal, arguing that such an inscription could be perceived as offensive and provoke a negative reaction from others.

Currently, the car owner is seeking an explanation of this verdict from officials and plans to file a lawsuit, as, being in Australia, he considers himself a patriot of Russia and believes that he has the legal right to place the surname of the President of the Russian Federation on the license plate of his car.
