As Autoportal has already written, the new model will replace the Hyundai Equus and will be produced under the Genesis sub-brand. It is known that the G90 will be available with standard and long wheelbase. Among the competitors are such "monsters" of the luxury segment as the Mercedes S-Class, BMW 7 and Audi A8.
Judging by the photos, the Koreans have thoroughly worked on the interior, which may well compete with the leaders in the class of executive sedans.
According to preliminary information, the Genesis G90 will be available with petrol engines. The entry-level ones are a bi-turbo 3.3 with 370 horsepower or a naturally aspirated V6 with a displacement of 3.8 liters and 335 hp. The most powerful modification will likely have a 425-horsepower V8 with a displacement of 5 liters.
The official premiere of the sedan is scheduled for December 2015. Also, under the Genesis brand, a crossover and a sports coupe will be produced.
