Japanese brand officially presented a unique board
The new product was called a hoverboard. It works through magnetic levitation. The design includes a bamboo deck, powerful magnets, and superconductors that are cooled with liquid nitrogen to minus 197 degrees — that's why steam rises from the board.
Such a device doesn't fly as high as shown in movies, but it does indeed hover a few centimeters above the surface. For now, this is just a concept, but likely in the future these developments will be useful for creating new types of transport.
