This, according to the residents of the building, could lead to an explosion. Autoportal has already reported that household gas refueling stations have appeared on sale, with which you can refuel cars with installed methane LPG using ordinary household gas. Experts, however, say that refueling a car with ordinary household gas is quite possible — provided you have a special home gas refueling station. It connects to an ordinary kitchen gas pipe. The whole problem is that in Europe the installation of such home refueling stations is certified, but here they are installed illegally, at your own peril and risk.

Most likely, a resident of the building installed such a device at home to refuel his own car. He cut down a lilac bush that grew under the windows of his kitchen and leveled a small flower bed with flowers to the ground. As it turned out later, he cleared this area for an improvised parking spot! He parks his car, which he refuels with gas, on this empty spot. He supplies this gas to the car through a makeshift pipe attached to his kitchen gas stove (as other residents of the building believe). He pulls this hose through the window, and thus refuels his car," said one of the neighbors of the hapless refueler.

But the neighbors' patience ran out when, in addition to his own car, the resident began refueling other cars as well. They repeatedly called the police, the man was even taken to the station for identification, but then released. Even gas workers came. Employees of "Kyivgaz" entered the resident's apartment. The service specialists checked everything, finding no violations and no unauthorized installations that could be used to refuel cars. Therefore, the resident was only issued a warning for violating public order. But they warned that if they find a gas refueling station, they will take measures.

One of the residents of the building named Mykhailo stated: "I filmed and posted on the internet a video showing how this man refuels his car by running a hose from the kitchen. But when the police and gas workers arrived, he hid his 'equipment' and drove his car away from the building. Apparently, he did the same this time. That's why they found nothing!"

Nevertheless, the neighbors' complaints brought results. According to the head of the Dnipro District State Administration Yaroslav Gorbunov, measures were taken: the housing maintenance office workers drew up two administrative protocols against the tenant, and specialists from "Kyivgaz" disconnected his apartment from the gas supply.

Let us remind you that today the Ukrainian market offers some new cars with factory LPG (methane). In particular, Autoportal conducted a test drive of the SEAT Leon TGI on gas:
