All oils in the Neste City Pro line are all-season. This is not surprising, because they are created in Finland, where the annual temperature range is about 70-80 degrees. The most versatile representative of the line is Neste City Pro 5W-40 - this is a fully synthetic motor oil whose properties exceed the requirements of manufacturers of modern passenger engines. Neste City Pro 5W-40 also meets the requirements of the latest advanced passenger engine designs, exhaust aftertreatment devices, as well as the requirements of the new API SN, SM/CF and ACEA C3 classes. Neste City Pro 5W-40 saves both oil and fuel, reduces engine wear and prevents rusting, and extends the service life of the exhaust aftertreatment device. Neste City Pro 5W-40 can be used year-round in any conditions in gasoline and diesel engines of passenger cars. It is suitable for both naturally aspirated and turbocharged engines, and is well suited for engines with catalytic converters and multi-valve engines. The oil can also be used in older engines, including those from the 80s. Using Neste City Pro 5W-40 contributes to reliable engine operation and the easy starting required for the catalytic converter, low oil consumption, and engine cleanliness.
In addition to Neste City Pro 5W-40, the line also includes several special motor oils. Neste City Pro 0W-40 (ACEA A3/B4, API SN/CF) is specially designed for operation in sharply continental climates, where winters can be very severe. It is well suited for cold starts in severe frost, while in heat it provides a thick oil film. This oil is suitable for all modern gasoline and diesel engines of passenger cars and minibuses.
The fully synthetic low-viscosity oil Neste City Pro 0W-20 (API SN, SM, ACEAA1) is recommended for Japanese-made cars such as Toyota, Lexus, and Honda. It is also suitable for hybrid vehicles, where low fuel consumption and low CO2 emissions are very important.
Oil Neste City Pro W LongLife III 5W-30 (VW 504.00/507.00, ACEA C3) is specially designed for Volkswagen/Audi/Seat/Skoda vehicles, for VAG concern vehicles with LongLife Service systems and requiring extended oil change intervals. This oil is especially recommended for vehicles using diesel particulate filters.
Neste City Pro LL 5W-30 is a fully synthetic motor oil for new-generation gasoline and diesel engines of Opel and Saab from the General Motors concern, equipped with ECO-Flex System and requiring long change intervals. It is also suitable for other gasoline and diesel engines meeting API SL, SJ/CF and ACEA A3/ B3/ B4 classes. Meets the requirements for motor oil from Mercedes Benz, Volkswagen, and BMW.
Neste City Pro C2 5W-30 for Toyota/Honda/Mitsubishi/Subaru/Citroën/Peugeot vehicles also provides for a particulate filter and exhaust aftertreatment devices. For correct filter operation, so-called Low SAPS oil with low content of sulfated ash, sulfur, and phosphorus is required. This oil is suitable for use in vehicles requiring API SM/CF and ACEA C2.
Finally, Neste City Pro A5/B5 0W-30 is designed for Volvo and other gasoline and diesel engines of passenger cars and vans requiring ACEA A5/B5, API SL or SJ/CF oil class, for example Renault, Citroën, and Peugeot.
