Many motorists remember that according to the law, all trucks and SUVs are supposedly registered with the military commissariats and can be called up for service in the event of an armed conflict. Previously, the owner personally registered such a vehicle with the military commissariat, but later the MREO of the State Traffic Inspectorate began providing information to the military commissariats.

In this regard, AvtoPortal contacted the State Traffic Inspectorate and other reliable sources to find out whether the "conscription" of personal vehicles is planned. As it turned out, at the moment, owners of cool SUVs (and UAZs too) should not worry yet. In the event of general mobilization, the possibility of transferring one's own car may indeed arise.

But there is an important point. The law stipulates that in such a case, compensation in the amount of the average market value of the car must be paid. If cars begin to be "conscripted" and compensation is indeed paid, many motorists would not mind making such a deal with the military commissariat. But, as is known, our military has very little money, and if such a conscription has to be carried out, most likely the owner will only receive a receipt allowing compensation after the end of hostilities...

Let us remind you that recently we wrote about what equipment the Ukrainian army used in exercises near Mykolaiv.
