How true this is, time will tell, but such a development seems quite logical — information about such a costly purchase would hardly have gone unnoticed by journalists. In reality, Viktor Yanukovych only negotiated the purchase of this rare car from a collector in Germany, with the deal estimated at 3 million euros.

The negotiations dragged on for a long time, and during this period the car itself was in the Audi museum storage in Ingolstadt. Apparently, the deal was already at the final stage, so a corresponding sign appeared on site, and a place of honor was allocated for the car in the parking lot in Mezhyhirya.

To the delight of the German side, the sale never went through, and the Horch 855 Spezial Roadster, which Himmler was supposedly supposed to drive, remained in Germany — at the Audi museum.
