Overall, the Hazumi leaves the impression of a car almost ready for production. Remove the purely showy elements of the exterior and interior, and you could put it on the assembly line tomorrow.

The dimensions of the show car are: length – 4070 mm, width – 1730 mm, height – 1450 mm, and wheelbase – 2585 mm. The model's name fits the concept's image perfectly – Hazumi, which in Japanese means "to spring, to bounce."

Under the hood is also a new Mazda product – the Skyactiv-D 1.5 diesel. The engine's specifications have not yet been announced, but the manufacturer says it meets Euro-6 emission standards without the use of any complex exhaust gas treatment systems.
