These checkpoints and patrols are reinforced by servicemen of mobile units of the border troops, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As is known, Ukrainian servicemen are blocked in their units in Crimea and cannot ensure the protection of the southern border of Ukraine.
Today, information appeared that the Belbek airport was partially liberated. This was largely facilitated by civilian airport employees who were not allowed to work, and by representatives of the press.
Ukrainian military pushed back the opposing side's forces from all major infrastructure facilities. Although the Russians tried to scare our military with bursts of fire into the air, they had to retreat. The runway and the guard room remain under Russian control, and out of a hundred employees, only about a dozen airport workers were allowed to their workplaces.
