In his address, published on the website of the State Automobile Inspectorate, Anatoliy Sirenko assured Ukrainians that he would do everything possible to restore public trust in traffic police officers, eradicate corruption, improve work efficiency, and establish an open dialogue with citizens.
“I will do everything possible to ensure that traffic on the country's roads is safe and unobstructed, and that traffic police officers work exclusively within the legal framework. I guarantee that I will personally set an example of exemplary performance of official duties, strict compliance with traffic rules, and adherence to the principles of legality,” the address states.

In addition to all these lofty words and assurances, Sirenko thanked the Maidan activists who, together with traffic police patrols, took to the country's roads to ensure the safety of citizens and public order.
Whether volunteer assistants will have any special insignia, the new head of the traffic police does not report. Therefore, ordinary drivers will have to navigate based on circumstances, but it is better, if possible, to avoid close contact with such formations.
