The Qoros 3 Hatch is built on the same platform as the 3 Sedan. The hatchback will arrive in Geneva with two petrol engines producing 126 and 156 hp. These are naturally aspirated and turbocharged versions of the 1.6-liter engine.
There are also two transmission options: a 6-speed dual-clutch robot and a manual gearbox with the same number of gears. Sales are scheduled to start in April in China.
The same platform as the sedan and hatchback will be used for the compact crossover Qoros 3 Cross. For now, the model names do not allow confusion among the modifications. Its sales will begin in autumn, and the powertrain lineup will be the same as that of the platform-sharing passenger models.
Closer to mid-2015, Qoros will show the mid-size SUV XQ3. The manufacturer has not yet disclosed details about the model.
However, it is known that by the summer of 2014, new powertrains will be presented: a 3-cylinder engine with a displacement of 1.0 liter and a 4-cylinder engine with a displacement of 1.4 liters.
