In terms of its overall dimensions, the Indian Tia is even slightly smaller than the Smart ForTwo. With a length of 2550 mm, width of 1688 mm, and height of 1406 mm, its ground clearance is 200 mm.

The wheelbase is 1620 mm, and the car's weight is 950 kg. The roadster has a tubular frame, and the body panels are made of composite materials.

The 1.2-liter engine is located at the rear axle, and turbocharging allows it to produce 120 hp. The little Tia takes nine seconds to accelerate from standstill to 100 km/h, and the top speed reaches 160 km/h.

Launch of the model into series production is scheduled for 2016. It is planned to assemble about 1000 microcars per year, with an estimated price of Tia at 1.8 million rupees ($28.7 thousand).
