In India, this concept is likely to go on sale as early as next year, 2015. The sedan's dimensions are quite modest — its length does not exceed four meters.

The exterior of the new model looks quite attractive, and the specialists have worked thoroughly on the body shapes — the model was even blown through in a wind tunnel. The Ford Figo also has a typically Indian feature: its mirrors are very sturdy and are considered impact-resistant in local conditions. If they collide with any other mirror, their housing will not be damaged.

The manufacturer is still keeping quiet about other technical details of the model, but it is assumed that the engines for the Figo will be borrowed from the Fiesta. These are petrol units with a displacement of 1 to 1.5 liters, as well as a 1.5-liter diesel.

It is worth recalling that models intended for the Indian market usually have very weak safety performance: in the local "bestseller" Tata Nano, not a single dummy survived recently.
