The three-cylinder gasoline power unit with a displacement of 1.2 liters is equipped with turbocharging and develops 102 hp and 180 Nm, available in the range from 4250 to 6000 rpm.
The 1.5-liter diesel, also having only three cylinders, has a power of 95 hp and "delivers" 220 Nm of torque, available already from one and a half thousand rpm.
Despite all its "budgetness", the MINI One can be equipped with a six-speed manual gearbox and a "robot" with two clutches for the same number of gears, but made in two variations: regular and sport. The sport version shifts faster and is capable of rev-matching.
It remains to add that the dynamics of the gasoline MINI Cooper One is 9.9 s, and the diesel one is 11 seconds. The average fuel consumption is 4.6 and 3.4 liters, respectively.
