The special regime implies parking restrictions on one side of a number of central streets of the capital. During the period of this regime, signs prohibiting parking will be applied on even and odd days.

This measure will ensure unobstructed operation of snow removal equipment. Additionally, tow trucks will be deployed. At the same time, cars parked with violations will not be sent to the impound lot — they will simply be moved in such a way that they do not obstruct utility services.

The Kyiv authorities appeal to motorists to park in a way that does not block the passage of special equipment. In addition, drivers are urged to refrain from using personal cars if possible to avoid creating additional traffic jams.

During the same period, entry into the city for freight transport will be restricted. An exception will be made only for vehicles carrying urgent or perishable goods.

The special parking regime will affect the following streets: Pushkinska, Tereshchenkivska, Sofiivska, Mala Zhytomyrska, Khmelnytskoho (from Kotsiubynskoho to Volodymyrska), Baseina (from Shevchenka to Kruhlouniversytetska), Prozrizna (from Volodymyrska to Pushkinska), as well as Shevchenko Boulevard.

The necessary road signs have already been installed, but are currently covered with covers. They will be removed when the special regime comes into force. Deterioration of weather conditions is forecast in the near future.
