Small cars with low-displacement engines have won the sympathy of Ukrainian drivers thanks to government efforts aimed at supporting domestic car production. The appearance of another modification will surely increase interest in this model, if the price remains attractive.

The advantages of the new product include increased body dimensions and design solutions borrowed from larger Peugeot 208, 308 models, as well as the 2008 crossover. In addition, the French manufacturer announces support for connecting various modern gadgets to the car's multimedia system.

As for the technical content, there is still little information. The manufacturer announces a petrol engine with a volume of 1.2 liters and an output of 68 horsepower, as well as its turbocharged version with 110 horsepower. Data on gearboxes is absent, but the appearance of a CVT would be a successful replacement for the robotic gearbox.

Like its predecessor Peugeot 107, the new generation of the model with index 108 will be built on a common platform with Citroen C1 and Toyota Aygo. Currently, the car is undergoing road tests.
