It may seem that MINI cars are too compact to be turned into a cozy place for outdoor recreation. However, British specialists decided to prove the opposite, and their solution turned out to be quite elegant.

The first camping setup is based on the most compact delivery van — the MINI Clubvan. Although it is designed for only one traveler, inside there is everything needed for a comfortable stay.

The engineers managed to fit not only a comfortable bed but also a compact kitchen with a gas stove and refrigerator in this car. In addition, under the trunk floor there is a water tank for a small shower, and roof rails are provided for transporting additional equipment.

The second option, based on the Countryman crossover, will appeal to those who prefer active recreation. Here, the sleeping place is installed on the roof of the car — it is a fold-out tent for two. When folded, it fits into a small plastic box. And on the rear bumper, you can attach bike carriers.

The third option, in our opinion, is the most interesting — it is a trailer that can be called a home on wheels. Despite its modest dimensions and a weight of less than 300 kg, there is room inside for a double bed, a gas stove with two burners, a refrigerator, and a sink. Solar panels are installed on the roof, providing the home with electricity. This is enough to operate kitchen appliances and entertainment equipment, including an audio system and a TV with a DVD player.

All these vehicles are just showpieces and will not go into mass production.
