In January, a certified inspection of 6 main types of gasoline and diesel fuel was conducted, which confirmed the quality of the sold range of petroleum products and their full compliance with relevant standards.
The laboratory testing covered all main grades of light petroleum products offered by the BRSM-Nafta network to motorists: A-92, A-95, A-95 Euro, branded alternative fuel A-95E Premium+, diesel fuel – DT Ukraine, DT Euro. The samples were checked for compliance with key parameters, in particular for gasoline this includes the octane number, which characterizes the fuel's resistance to detonation, sulfur and benzene content, exceeding permissible amounts of which harms both the environment and the vehicle, mass fraction of aromatic hydrocarbons, etc. The inspection confirmed the high quality of the fuel, its imported origin, as well as full compliance with the norms of relevant standards.
The main task of the "Quality under Control" program is constant monitoring of fuel quality at domestic gas stations participating in the program. Institute experts monthly conduct secret fuel purchases at gas stations across the entire customer network, send samples to a certified laboratory, where they are checked for compliance with relevant DSTU standards. In addition, independent experts check the logistics chain "oil refinery-customs-gas station", which must additionally confirm that the fuel is original and factory-made. The customer of such a study, in turn, receives an actual objective conclusion based on the inspection results, which allows them to see possible shortcomings at one or another gas station of their network from the outside and promptly correct them.
"After a series of commissioned materials in the mass media, organized by individual 'experts' of the fuel market with the aim of discrediting our company and the sold range of petroleum products, we decided to initiate a series of independent fuel inspections at our facilities throughout Ukraine, making the results of such studies public and accessible to everyone who refuels at our stations," says Oleksandr Melnychuk, Director of Strategic Marketing Department of State Oil company, which develops the BRSM-Nafta gas station network. – The obtained results naturally confirmed to us and our consumer that the quality of fuel sold at gas stations meets all adopted both domestic and European standards. In turn, exclusive contracts for fuel supplies with leading European oil refineries allow us to offer all car owners of Ukraine at our stations a quality product at the best cost compared to competitors."
And Yuriy Chernobryvets, Director of the Institute of Consumer Expertise, commented on the start of long-term cooperation with the BRSM-Nafta network as follows: "High competition in the retail fuel market and the fight for customers require market operators to take increasingly active actions aimed at improving the level of service and quality of sold products. One of the most important methods is quality control of fuel sold at gas stations and bringing information about the tools of this control to customers. The fact that the company joined the 'Quality under Control' program on a permanent basis indicates that the company is not afraid of inspections by independent structures and cares about the quality of the sold product, and therefore about the consumer."
