A resident of Italy, 35-year-old Spartaco Capon, tired of being constantly late for work due to commuting on public transport, decided to get his own car. But the new Fiat 500 he purchased came with an unpleasant surprise just a few days later — the car refused to start. The enraged owner could not find a better way to vent his emotions than to smash the car with an axe.

The noise attracted the attention of neighbors, who hastened to call the police, reporting vandalism. When the officers arrived, the furious Capon explained that the damaged car was his property and showed the confirming documents.

As law enforcement noted, the man's behavior was caused by severe overwork. The Italian was taken to a medical facility, where doctors prescribed him a week of rest and put him under the care of a psychiatrist.
